A Point Pleasant Park Elopement

November 22, 2019

A Beautiful and Intimate Elopement at Point Pleasant Park in the heart of Halifax

When people think about eloping, they often think that they have to either 1. get married at the local courthouse or 2. run away and get married just the two of you. We’re here to tell you that eloping doesn’t have to be either of those (unless thats what you want, of course). Nowadays, elopements are considered to be a small and intimate affair, typically with 20 people or less. B + T had a very small and intimate elopement at Point Pleasant Park in Downtown Halifax and shared their day with their closest family and friends. They  each had their best friend stand next to them, they ate cake, drank champagne and spent quality time with the ones closest to them.

Eloping doesn’t have to be one way or the other.

You can literally make into anything you want! You can do something as simple as eloping in one of the may nooks and crannies at Point Pleasant Park or you can hike up a mountain and exchange your vows there. All you need is you, your love, a marriage license, a JOP and two witnesses (hi, hellooo that could be us LOL) to make it official! Some people choose to have a very intimate ceremony and celebrate with all of their friends and family after, and others choose not to have a celebration after at all.

In the end, deciding to elope is a personal decision. Interested in learning more about eloping? don’t hesitate to reach out! Because eloped ourselves, they are so close to our hearts and we absolutely adore capturing love in such an intimate way.
