Becca & Adam has the sweetest wedding day which they managed to plan as a surprise for all of their family and friends! Now, it’s not often that we get the chance to photograph a surprise wedding but this was one for the books. Becca & Adam booked a house on AirBnb on a beautiful beach community near Halifax, Nova Scotia. It made for the coziest, casual wedding – which they told everyone invited was actually a late birthday celebration for Adam since COVID-19 had spoiled any plans in the previous months. They had lots to drink, ordered lots of pizza and had the best time with all of their guests. Having a surprise wedding is a little out of the ordinary, but is such a fun way to surprise all of your family and friends. A typical wedding is not for everyone, and that’s totally ok! 2020 was the year of improvising when it came to getting married and Becca & Adam did a wonderful job at that with putting a super fun spin on it!
Becca had her makeup done buy the very talented Selena Marchand, had a custom made “mushroom” coloured (almost a bit purple) gown made by Katrina Tuttle Bridal, and let me tell you it was BEAUTIFUL!! And had the dreamiest wildflower bouquet made by Koko Mod Floral who is so, so talented and makes some of our all time favourite bouquets. And last but not least, Sarah Anderson was the planner/JOP. She owns East Coast Pop Up Weddings and we always work on the most amazing Mirco Weddings and Elopements with her. If you are planning something on a smaller scale she is your girl (and oh so fun).
If you are getting married in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Maritimes, or anywhere in Canada and are looking for a wedding or elopement photographer, REACH OUT! We would love to chat with you all about your big day.
