A Beautiful Summer Wedding at The Westin Nova Scotian
Lauren and David had the most beautiful August wedding at The Westin Nova Scotian. It was a sunny day in Halifax, and anyone who has spent a lot of time in Halifax, certainly knows that, that is not always the case! They had a beautiful ceremony in the Westin ballroom and then headed to Point Pleasant Park for photos as well at the Via Rail station, as David has a love for trains. After that, we all headed back to the reception and everyone ate (they had the MOST DELICIOUS seafood chowder) and danced the night away.
During the reception, Laurens bridesmaids made the most beautiful and funny video in lieu of speeches and it had everyone laughing and in tears. Love filled the room, to the extreme. You could tell that everyone LOVED both Lauren and David, and they loved everyone right back. The best part of having their wedding in Halifax, was that they were able to spend quality time with the ones who meant the most to them. They have both been living in various parts of the country and finally settled in Calgary, but still knew they needed to celebrate at home, in Halifax and the Westin Nova Scotian was the perfect place to do that.
