We LOVE all things valley so we were SO excited when Caitlin and Ethan asked us to capture their day in Gaspereau. The more we got to know these two the more we loved them. Caitlin is probably one of the cutest and most positive people we know, she even brought us a jar of homemade pickles after our engagement session AND as a wedding gift (for those of you who don’t know I LOOOOOVVEEE Pickles haha!). On the wedding day we had the pleasure of spending time with their family and friends, but something that really stood out was the getting ready portions of the day. Caitlin’s family has a truly special relationship with each other. There were so many hugs, kisses and tears. Chris also had the time of his life with Ethan and his family/friends at the other location, I guess they had breakfast and talked about/listened to CBC radio, which is right up his alley.
One thing they were really excited about was all their family that was visiting from away, their wedding was the first wedding in a loooong time! It was amazing how the whole town came together for their big day. All the sunflowers were grown by their friend’s mom, all the corn was shucked and the veggies peeled by friends and family for the pig roast, instead of cake there was lots of pie! There was such a wonderful small-time feel and the dance was SO fun (see below hehe)
THANK YOU SO MUCH Caitlin and Ethan for letting us be a part of this amazing day! We can’t wait to someday spend some more time together and perhaps get a romantic photo of you guys in the pouring down rain 😉
