To be safe, we would suggest reaching out and booking 18-12 months before your wedding date. Some dates and months are more popular than others and sometimes will book out over a year in advance. With that being said, it’s totally possible to book with less notice.

Yes I do! You will receive a sneak peek within a week of your wedding or session date.

At the moment, Chris is our primary on-location photographer. His unique shooting style and perspective have been the driving force behind our work. While Amber may occasionally join on-site, her main focus is handling the behind-the-scenes tasks, including email correspondence and ensuring that everything runs seamlessly. A second shooter of our choice may be included in your package, or can be added on for an additional fee.

Film has been a passion of mine my entire life and I would absolutely love to include a film gallery with the rest of your wedding gallery. Because the cost of film & developing is so high, there will be an additional fee for this which can be added as an extra to your wedding package. 

We offer a few different wedding packages to fit your needs, these base packages do not include any add-ons or upgrades. On average, our couples tend to spend around $3,000-$4,500 + HST on photography for their big day. Please contact us to get a copy of our full price list for more information.

Yes of course! There is a print release built into your wedding contract in case you have any trouble while trying to print! I do offer professional printing services within your gallery as well.

How and when should we expect to receive our photos?

How many photos will we receive?

Depending on how busy I am with weddings, you can expect to receive your photos within 12 weeks from your wedding day. All images will be edited and delivered via an online gallery where you can download both hi-res and web-res photos for printing and sharing online with your friends and family.

The amount of images you will receive depends on the package you book, but typically you should expect at least 50 images per hour of coverage. With that being said, I never hold anything back and you will receive all of the good images in your gallery.

Where are you based and do you travel?

Do you have backup equipment?

We are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Chris absolutely loves shooting weddings in the HRM and surrounding areas but he is always excited to travel to different destinations for weddings. Any travel further than 100/km from our home may be subject to travel fees. Depending on the location you can expect to pay for things such as mileage, accommodations, airfare and incidentals. 

Yes we do! We always have extra camera bodies, lenses, flashes, batteries, SD cards and more. We have both shot enough weddings to know that gear can fail and you absolutely need to be prepared with a back up.

In order to secure your date we require a signed contract and a 25% non-refundable deposit. Once both are received the date is officially yours! Fill out our contact form to get started on the booking process.

Yes! Planning a wedding is lots of work and most times it’s hard to even know where to start. We work with you to create your wedding day timeline to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Once you book, we also send you a wedding guide that will help you in the planning process and will give you an idea of where to start when it comes to your timeline.
