Where to Elope in the Maritimes
Wanting to elope but don’t know where or how? Here are we going to cover places where we think would be awesome to elope in the Maritimes!
These days we keep seeing couples deciding to elope more and more and to be completely and totally honest, we understand why. Sometimes a big wedding is not always the best choice for you and your partner. When it came to planning our wedding day there were a lot of things that were stressing us out big time like finding the perfect location, food and seating charts, budget and frankly, just being worried about pleasing everyone and making sure they were happy.
You get engaged, and all of a sudden it’s like a whirlwind of questions and planning and it’s so easy for your perfect day to get lost in what everyone else wants and expects from it. But that’s the thing, it’s YOUR DAY! You should celebrate it the way that you want to and if eloping sounds like it’s more for you, we highly encourage you to follow your heart and go with your gut.

There are SO many places in Atlantic Canada & Around the world that would make an incredible spot to get married and it seems like each and everyday we think of another amazing location that we would love to shoot an Elopement at but here are just a few places in the Maritimes that we think would be amazing to get married at and we hope it at least sparks some ideas of where you might like to exchange your vows and start the beginning of the rest of your life together.
Most of these locations are off the beaten track and would be great for an adventurous couple. Some locations are easier than others but we are totally up for the planning and preparation of finding the perfect location for you! - The Valley (at a beautiful vineyard or at Blomidon Provincial Park, perhaps?)
- Anywhere on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton

- The Grand Victoria, PEI
- Cape Tryon Lighthouse
- Tree Top Haven, PEI

There you have it, just a few of the places that we think would be great to elope in the Maritimes! Atlantic Canada is truly incredible and there are so many hidden gems in this place we call Home.
