A Nova Scotia Backyard Wedding

There is nothing better than a beautiful summer backyard wedding in Nova Scotia, are we right? Ok, ok… every wedding is amazing BUT considering we only get what seems like one month of good weather here in NS, having a backyard wedding is a good way to not only celebrate your love, but to also enjoy the very little time we have to enjoy that!

When D + T contacted us about their wedding and told us everything they had planned for it we got so excited that we had the privilege to capture those memories for them and celebrate with all of their friends and family. Being together for years and years, they finally took the leap to make their relationship officially, official. You could tell every single guest and family member were so, so excited.

When we asked D + T what they were most excited for, for their wedding day, they said the fact that they get to celebrate it with their girls. To say that they were in the spotlight for a lot of the day would be an understatement!

Is a Backyard wedding for you?

We love the simplicity of backyard weddings, while they don’t have to be simple AT ALL, they also can be as simple as you’d like! Often times, you can use your property or a family property that means a lot to you. They seem to be more intimate and casual as well. That doesn’t mean that everyone has to show up in jeans and a t-shirt, but they have the feeling of being more laid back.
