Polly’s Cove Engagement

August 11, 2019

If you haven’t been to Polly’s Cove you’re missing out on one of the awesome Gems Nova Scotia has to offer. Kirsten contacted us a few months ago asking us to photograph her’s and Colin’s elopement and when she told us everything she had planned we knew that she had something amazing up her sleeves. These two really made it clear that they were our “fuck yes” clients when we were planning their engagement session and they wanted to go somewhere epic and wanted to meet for sunrise. Chris and I got up at 4:30AM, drank some coffee and headed out towards the Peggy’s Cove area in the pouring down rain (like torrential). These two were up to getting a little wet because rain just happens to be very intertwined into their love story. Their first date was in the rain and they got engaged in the rain so it only seemed fitting to do their engagement photos in the rain, too. Rain happened to be one of the things that really stuck out to me when they first inquired, something epic, rain or shine, she said. Take it from these guys, don’t let rain get in the way of anything, wedding day or not.

PS. Kirsten is a bomb a** videographer, check out her work here: Kirsten Stanley Productions
