A Beautiful Fall Wedding at Fishermans Cove in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia
Being a Wedding + Elopement Photographer in Halifax has given us the opportunity to photograph peoples love in many, beautiful places. When S + J contacted us about photographing their wedding at Fishermans Cove in Eastern Passage we were intrigued! Personally, I (Amber) hadn’t really known that Fishermans Cove hosted weddings but being a place I grew up close to, I was happy to hear that it was in fact, a thing! I think one of the major bonuses of having a wedding there is the fact that its literally on McCormacks Beach and has SO much variety for photos. Fishermans Cove is lined with beautiful, little colourful stores with SO much personality and fishing boats and docks where you are always warmly welcomed to take photos.
S + J met at the Brass Band at their church. Jeff’s sister played match maker and said to S one day, “I have two brothers, you should date one!”. Apparently it worked, because now the rest is history. One part of the wedding that was especially beautiful was the fact their their Brass Band played lots of different pieces for them at the ceremony, which really added to the atmosphere of the event. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear for S + J all day. They laughed, told embarrassing stories and danced the night away while watching the most beautiful sunset as dinner was served. Thats what we call, a successful night!
